Equine Education is not training... it is in the true sense of the word, educating. There are many different methods that professional trainers utilize. Many focus solely on the animals and forget the importance of educating the people. Our job is to educate both the horse and the human to have a mutual respect and understanding of one another. We strive for a relationship between the two. One that unites them and forms a bond of friendship, trust and consideration. They look to one another for support and encouragement, to make them one complete unit, to "Promote Harmony Between Horse And Human." ![]()
For the horse, we focus on the stature of their emotional and mental aspects by broadening their ability to tolerate anxiety & control their fear ... and, by giving them a place of safety which will serve them in moments of uncertainty. The relationship you must establish with a horse is one that is made up of an effective line of communication that creates understanding and trust. Once these lines have been opened, you are then able to tap into their mental and emotional states allowing their physical abilities to be enhanced for teaching the discipline you desire of them. It is necessary for trainers and owners to be campaigning horses that are of sound mind as well as sound body. In order to do so, we need to re-educate these animals by understanding the natural instincts making up each particular horse and introduce them into a desired discipline. For the rider, we consider the relationship between you and the horse to be of the utmost importance. For this reason, we educate you and your horse, together as a team. Showing you how to understand from where your horse is coming, communicating with him in the only language he naturally understands... TRUST. It is this perfect balance of mental and physical education of the horse, as well as, the technical and emotional education of the people that makes our methodology work. ![]()
